5. Deducted Prepaid Credit

A

If you’ve agreed to purchase one of our services by doing so you agreed to pay for it. In turn we agree to provide you the service and you consume that service. In that case it’s fair that we collect the agreed charges from you. But what if at the time of agreeing to purchase and consume the service my prepaid balance was too low for the charges to be deducted? That’s ok, we know that happens from time to time. So, because you’ve agreed to use and pay for the service that’s enough for us to let you go ahead and use that service. We’ll simply defer the charges until your next prepaid top-up. That’s why the Premium SMS billing message may arrive some time after you’ve used the service.

6. Multiple Charges

In some cases you may receive multiple charges, or Premium SMS, for a given call. 08000MumDad services can be made up of more than one charge. Take “They’ll Pay” which say for a 50 second call will incur 1 connection fee charge PLUS one charge for the 1st talk time minute. 7. Stop

08000MumDad is not a subscription service so by replying “stop” to a Premium SMS message won’t actually do anything. If you are receiving Premium SMS remember, it’s to pay us for a service that you’ve already used. If you want to discuss your past usage of arrange for calls to be barred to your number, contact us by clicking here...

8. Why am I limited to the number of calls?

A

Reverse charge calls can be costly so we recommend monitoring your usage. We protect you from our customers from over usage by limiting the number of calls that can receive per day. We also send out free of charge reminders when customers have reached certain spend limits each month.

9. Barring

A

Ultimately you the customer have control over how many calls are accepted and billed to your number. If you don’t want to pay for a call we present to you, you don’t have to. Just decline the call by following the instructions, or simply hang-up. This way you can continue to receive calls and choose those you accept versus those you don’t. It’s your call. However we understand that for certain reasons barring access to 08000MumDad service may be the preferred option. You can request a bar be placed on your number from receiving future reverse charge services. To bar your number click here... and we will send you a free SMS to confirm your number has been barred. Please note barring may take up to one working day and charges for previously accepted calls will still be delivered.

12. Why am I being charged for the Pranking service?

A

In the event that you or the user of your phone rejected more than 10 calls, the following recorded announcement, would have been played… "Hello this is 08000 MUMDAD You have someone on the line wishing to speak to you. However, before we can connect and play the name of the person calling you, we noticed you have already rejected 10 calls immediately after hearing the recorded name or short message. In our experience, this means you are likely to be using the service as a voice messaging service, this is also known as ghosting or pranking. 08000 MUMDAD calls can be very important and you just don't know when you might really need it, so we will not block your number. Alternatively, we are happy for you to use the service as a voice messaging service, and you will be charged for each 2nd you use the service this way at £0.75 per call charged to your mobile phone by Premium SMS in increments of £1.50, So to prevent your number from being permanently barred from using this service, press 1 now to accept the terms and conditions."
If you have received a Pranking charge, you or someone using your phone must have agreed to use the service as a Pranking service by pressing 1 at that time. When you accept to become a Pranking customer we send you a free SMS outlining the offer accepted.At the end of each second Pranking call, we send a Premium SMS notifying you of the charges, except in the case where the mobile had no credit at the time.

13. How do I barr my number from the Pranking service?

If you no longer wish to use the Pranking Service click here... and we will send you a free SMS to confirm your number has been barred. Please note that this may take up to one working day !
